About Me

Dear fellow travellers! Sociologist, translator, tour guide and licensed Austria guide accompanies you throughout Vienna and the world.

I am Sandra and I chose to live in Vienna. Since my years of study I live and work in Vienna. At the beginning I often took to my heels, now I know, that I was unconsciously looking for a better place to live. But again and again I returned to Vienna and the more time I spent abroad the more I discovered the aspects of Vienna, which make it so charming and worth living.

Studies: sociology, translation for German/Spanish/Japanese and philosophy. Adult language classes, then formation of tourguide and immediate start of working in this field. As second pillar, to be able to settle down a bit more, formation of Austria licensed guide.

Favorite spots:

In Vienna: Vienna Woods, Prater, Danube Island, Old Danube, sidewalk bars and cafés like in the Blue Tomato, “Heuriger”

In the world: Havanna (Cuba), Cuenca (Spain), Antibes (France), Kyoto (Japan), Portovenere (Italy), Mazunte (Mexico), Sydney (Australia), New York (US)
